After good recommendations already for Northern Portugal I thought I'd call again on the collected wisdom of the forum for further south.

Any suggestions for overnight stops around the Pria Du Luz / Largos / Albufeira stretch of coast?

Free or cheap is good, but reasonably priced campsite suggestions welcome too.

(A lot of places previously mentioned on Park4night etc. are clearly no longer possible - newly installed No Motorhomes signs everywhere, and patrols by the GNR).

You’ll do well to find a free spot on the Algarve now. It was barely possible when we were there last winter due to the new laws that were passed.
Monchique is a possibility but it’s 900m high and gets cold!
