One of my favourite sites and areas Michelle.. This time I am going to my youngest daughters Phd graduation ceremony at the lighthouse and what better place to park up than south lychett..lol

Nice walk if it hasn't been raining otherwise waders are the preferred footwear if I remember last year correctly. Lol.

Blimey, it was last January when stopped, then on to Benidorm.

Its a great site and one of the best in the area .i normally catch a bus into Poole or Wareham and find nice place to eat there ..however you are right the reception at campsite gives you a voucher for a bottle of plonk at pub which is a nice touch .

We did the same, it was very good. We were also entertained by our Labrador being scared by a posturing noisy cockerel on the way to said pub.

And, if I recall correctly, the site shop sold cold bottles of Stowford Press!

We went there in the caravan two years ago, a great site and a good pub with good food down the road....

Microbiology. She works at Porton Down and is involved with tropical diseases etc ..got her mothers brains .! Lol.

Very pleased and proud of her Anthea. Said I would dress up in my Lycra mankini and my lime green florescent hoody and sandals for the ceremony..she didn't seem that impressed .never could understand women, never satisfied with your best efforts to please. Haha.

She got her Bsc 7 years ago and had been studying for her PhD since then .so well earned.she should now be set up for life in her line of work..

The 9th we will be down the pub with my dad for his birthday meal but just chilling and catching up with washing etc on the 10th. It's a great site and the pub down the road is great good beers and excellent food and the free bottle of wine is a bonus.

We stayed there earlier this year, and have booked to go again for New Year. Agree about the pub, not far to walk, and lovely food when you get there, I think it is St Peters Finger? Will definitely be booking a table when we are there.
