I've only just seen this thread and got very excited when I saw the Memorial Car Park at Slapton and also the CP at Torcross.

But in truth, thought it highly unlikely they'd get the go-ahead.

And reading further through the thread, sadly, that's precisely what has happened.

The Memorial CP is a lovely spot with stunning panoramic views around the bay, and in a beautiful part of the country.

I guess Dartmouth Park & Ride could be quite handy for us. We have on occasion parked the van there during the daytime to go in to town.

Just visited Totnes and this is the latest on parking situation at carpark. Looking good. A few vans using already.

I might add I’m born & bred Southb Devon most commonly described as : “God’s county on Earth “.

No Gods County is Yorkshire, Should be Derbyshire though.BUSBY
