Soundproofing and Leathercloth (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am after some good soundproofing for the undercarpet area in the Cab of my RV and also the engine cover.

Also Tan Leathercloth for the Engine cover.I will probably Button and quilt the engine cover to as near original as I can.Anyone got some pics?May consider a professional trimmer for this.

Please can anyone point me to a good supplier?

Still trying to find suitable Soundproofing.I believe it's quite thick on the engine cover.

I would recomend high density acoustic foam Steve 6-10mm thick, flame proof if you can get it, failing that a couple of layers glued together of the acoustic foam thats used under Laminate flooring, that comes in at around 3mm and quotes good sound insulation in its properties

:Cool: Our first RV a 1988 Coachmen Classic had some 2 inch of heavy duty Foam (fire resistant?) stuck to the underside which was then covered with a plasticised Foil to protect it from the heat.

I might try some although the underside has some there already.

Pics of other RV's of the era have a cover OVER the engine Cover which is "quilted and buttoned".
