Thinking of going to Southern Ireland for a month next year and just wondering if a frames are legal or do I forget taking the toad. I know pull up a chair, beer and popcorn but a search did not reveal an answer. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have always found that the south of Ireland has a VERY relaxed attitude to what is acceptable on a public road.
It wouldn’t worry me taking our toad apart from the extra ferry costs

Found it essential to get in all the nooks and crannies that would be tight for a motorhome, the Ring of Kerry comes to mind with coaches to get past in tight areas.

Looking at Stena Line it seems to be cheaper for car and caravan than motorhome and toad a little puzzling as same overall sizes, I will need to tow MH with the toad!!!!!
