In our Burstner, I can't work out if the loo flush should have additive in it? There's a light by the electric flush button that I thought would indicate when the cassette is full? Perhaps it's to say there's no flush additive or don't Thetfords have an additive tank?
TIA

On our mh the flush with freshwater only, the red light means the waste casette is full, if its not your float is jammed inside the casette its a messy job if your not brave enough just empty before it gets too full ?

If your toilet has its own flush tank, usually filling via a pull out spout from inside the cassette locker, you can add PINK fluid.
If its supplied from the main fresh water tank that's not advisable.... It'll make your drinking water undrinkable.
Only drawback using pink fluid it eventually causes black specks (some kind of fungal growth) in the bowl and they're hard to get rid of.

Have you read the handbook ?
I think it`ll be fed from the fresh tank so no addative needed
Yeah what's that golden rule? Take the manual with you when you're away? Well, it's at home. It is fed from the fwt. And I have a cleaning job to address with this float system? It's not hard to see when the tank is full but I like to have things working correctly if poss. Thanks ?

Get yourself a Household cleaner type spray bottle.(Empty)
Put a healthy amount (say 10%) of toilet 'Pink' type additive in and top up with water.
Then, after each use of the bowl, give the bowl a spray.
Keeps it nice and fresh
