somewhere to plot up near Black country museum

We have not managed to get out much this year due to various problems, but are going to Blackpool for four days, and collecting a trailer from Paul ( Badknee ) on the way home
Also on the way home we are planning on calling in to the Black Country Living museum ( at DY1 4SQ )
Can the panel suggest a plot up in or around the area ?
Intend being in the area Friday night, driving to the place Saturday morning and spending the day, then go somewhere to plot up for Saturday night before going home on Sunday

Lots of camp sites but looking for somewhere to park up ( hate sites in the UK generally.. Far too greedy. Far too many rules they only seem to impose on some people !)

It is very built up around that area and not the nicest of places to stop.

I think that a pub might be your best bet and hope the locals don’t misbehave.

Best come to Shropshire and visit Blists Hill. Much nicer ?

Don't know if your sorted yet but there have been a few lorries and MHs stopping here since it opened, A41 at Newport,handy if you've got 'that' trailer on the back
