Government to urge us all to walk and cycle more

Funding for English local authorities is likely to be unveiled to encourage people to be more active.

In the long term we could have a healthier, happier population and cleaner air if we don't fall back into old habits and there is continued support for cycling infrastructure.

I don’t see why cyclists should get looked after more than any others. More infrastructure for all of us to get around without cars would be better.

I’m at the opposite end of the scale. I‘ve done more cooking and experimenting in the kitchen (oooer) followed by scoffing the lot with a nice bottle or two. I can’t wait to get back to work where I’m on my feet on the go all day. I never thought I’d hear myself say that.

Did you read it? It's about cyclists and pedestrians this is exactly about providing more ways for everyone to get around without using motorised vehicles. It's win win for everyone.
