I was taking my van back to storage this evening...... when a brand new Puegeot
van thought he could get passed parked cars on his side, around 10 cars parked up, I was 3/4 of the way through... my right of way. I stopped when Bang on the
side :shout:
I jumped out and noticed his wing mirror on the floor, then he sped off when I approached. I picked up the mirror all complete indicator, glass all ok as the bolts came with it. Then I dreaded the thought of checking mine, I had initially did'nt look and went up the nearside towards him, anyway 2 black marks from mirror
which came off with scratch remover, no dents  no marks now.
So I now have a near brand new O/S mirror. I recon it will cost him over a £100
to get a new one. That will teach him.

Yeah! On the bay....

" Complete mirror disgarded by a complete idiot, who hit my vehicle and fled. The mirror is complete with fixings and appears unharmed.

Proceeds to go to x charity, so that someone may benefit from this idiots dishonesty"

Go for it!

A Tesco delivery van smashed the wing mirror on my Renault Master work van last year.
The cost to supply and fit a new one was £355.00 :Eeek:

We made damned sure Tesco paid for it!

More like £300 !

Personally if it was me I'd keep it as a spare for the inevitible time I'd come to need one! These mirrors are magnetic !!
