But can I mix 109 on the front, and 112 on the back ?

Buying 5 new would blanch a little

I would hesitate to have different tyre specifications on front and rear axles without getting a professional opinion. You certainly couldn't mix on the same axle, so if you've got a spare as well, you'd need two different sizes!

Personally, I'd just put the 109s on. There's already plenty of wiggle room on the specs. If it says it's good for a 2060kg axle, it's good enough for a 2060kg axle.

BTW, if you're intending a MAM upgrade in the future, that changes everything. It is likely that those tyres are a/the limiting factor. You might be able to get 3650kg as a paper exercise, but you'll need those 112s to get 3850kg, as it is not practical to have the MAM being the sum of the axle loadings. You'd need to up the rear axle to 2200kg or so. You might also need semi-air, but possibly not.

Yes, I have wondered about 1850 front / 2000 rear, but only 3500 total - that's not the sum of both axles.

The total of axle loading is usually a minimum of about 200kg more than the total. Hence thinking they'd allow 3650kg without too much fuss, but would resist anything higher without the axles being increased too, particularly the rear.

Any thoughts on BridgeStone Duravis tyre ?

Has good ratings for economy and wet grip . .
Have these as factory supplied. They're black & go round
Run at 53psi as recommended by Bridgestone based on actual axle weights

Had my uprated by SVTech... could go to 3650kg as purely paper exercise.
Went to 3850kg with rear air assist fitted.
Original tyres, no change to axle limits.

Could have uprated rear axle to 2250kg by fitting wider 225 tyres
