We are parked in a restaurant aire, all the pitches are clearly marked, all 80 of them.

Enter two German vans, brand new carthago and a concord, I'm walking Tilly the concord owner comes out of his van and has a pee, the aire had all the facilities you wanted.
But they are above the rules, park across the pitches, the warden ain't happy. They refuse to move.

Then another van drives in and parks less than 3 feet from us, struggles to open his drivers door, I suggest he makes a bit more space, shrug of the shoulder, back in 5 mns.. I did tell him that we were not interested in any tarmac.

No wonder some motorhome owners get a bad name.

Yes the aire is not full but they have no idea how many will be along later .

That was probably their reason for being so ignorant!

Surprised he let them get away with thst he normally complains if someone is on the white line and not inside it.

Can't argue with a photo....... last year we were in France, I struggled to find an appropriate space, eventually had to take up a few spaces......... came out after shopping one frog tight up on my bumper, the other same across my beam............. never the less still love France as a get thro' to Spain !!!
