I stumbled across this company's website while day dreaming about what van I would get next.
Some nice ideas, but also some odd ideas!

Obviously these would only be of any interest to somebody like us who likes PVC's with a fixed longitudinal bed.

Ultravans

I like it apart from the shower curtain and I would like a sliding door to separate the bed area for those nights when one of us wants to go to bed early. Well, always Steve, never me :giggle:

It looks like a well built van with some nice features and good looks. I like the layout and shower room, I would prefer a window as well as the fan. I did find it odd that there is no basin in the bathroom and the toilet cassette has to be removed from inside the van. The lithium and inverter are a nice touch, as are the fans in the skylights. I think the cold water tank is below the van which doesn't appeal to me in freezing weather. it does have an under slung gas tank which is a big bonus. A bit like the VW Grande California the windscreen and front windows don't have built in blinds which I would find annoying.
Compared to our Globecar it doesn't have many widows around the bed which may not really matter.

Nice like the Lidl spot lights!!

Also no bathroom sink?!

I had a PVC, and yes there is only so much room.
But I like his pitch
HUGE bench seat
Very Generous Shower space
Huge Garage

erm, no mate

but Nice van
A bit like an estate agent!

To be fair for a panel van it does have a big garage. its like our Campscout and we get a huge amount in that with clever packing.
The shower is better than our Campscout but that doesn't take much!
No defence for the bench seta even with a big portion of poet licence its not huge!

The bed looked good. But no sink, and did you see a wardrobe of any kind?

The company is not even a year old yet. One to watch though I think.

Van looks lovely from outside, and quite stealth which I like. Don’t see the need for the sofa, would want roof vent in the shower room, not auto fan, and think it’s good not having a basin in there that would just waste space. But the biggest no for me is the bed being length ways, and no side access, so getting off bed will be done by shuffling along like a dog with an itchy arse. Bet thats nice when you other half is going to the loo at midnight.

I also don’t need the presenter to keep telling me the obvious. I know what the job of a fly screen is, and the reason for a heater outlet, and the I know the light will provide light.

Nice van, but a distinct lack of windows - in the rear especially, just those 2 rather odd little slit windows high up. No bathroom window either, just an extractor. Can't help but think that it would feel dark and a bit claustrophobic with a lack of ventilation at times, especially as it looks like the windows that are there are tinted - on the sliding door for example.

King size bed in width but not in length but not to worry, if your feet hang over the edge, just put your head in the convenient cut out bits on the headboard :giggle:

He appeared to be aiming his speil at newbies to motorhoming. That said, I only dragged the slider a little and watched to the end. That really is something for me '\. Well done him

You did better than me then.

That’s a nicely built van.

A couple of things I’d change..

I personally prefer decent living space to garage space every time.

Nowt worse than being inside on a rainy day, stuck in the front of the van at a small table and bench, or retreating to the restricted height bed.

Full size cooker means a very narrow corridor and a narrow bathroom.

And you need knee pads every time you want to get something out of the fridge on the floor 🥴

Completely different layout, but also whilst daydreaming on potential vans once it's just myself & Mrs F, I came across RP Motorhomes - very nice indeed but of course at a price.

4x4 options if you've really deep pockets and long arms!

Shame they don’t do a model with a fixed rear bed, nice looking vans.

I have never really looked at PVC but was drawn to look at his by the OP commenting that it had a longitudinal bed.

Initially I thought that it has most of the basics of our 'A' Class with some detractions, like

No washbasin
No wardrobe
Minimal storage

Then I also thought that there are some vital statistics missing.

I assume overall length id the LWB at approx. 7m.
What is the kerb weight(weighbridge not EU MIRO) and therefore Payload at 3.5t max.?
Length of bed.
Are water tanks heated?

There might be good answers to those omissions.

I was impressed by the thought to the electrics/Victron system etc. - well up with 'A' Class and also the LifePo battery. With tha addition of a B2B one cold last a long time off-grid. But where do you store the winter clothes - boxes in garage, but no bicycles?

Overall their design ideas are good. I will watch their progress.

I must have slept through the gas storage and toilet cassette - I always miss the best bits 😉

There would be nothing to stop you leaving the bed / lounge area made up as a bed - there are still seats and a table at the front of the van. A few years to go yet, but when we're going away without kids it's definitely one I'd consider if funds allow.

I wouldn't say no if this was offered to me! Then I googled the price...

I would have to worry about that fixed bed - that is something that isn't very multipurpose and it takes up a good chunk of the space. I liked Jim's comment about no bathroom sink - it's brush your teeth in the dishes time!!! I think I'd want a dishwasher for that money!!

On a completely different note and to bring us all back from our marketing foray, look at these outlandishly bad taste 70s USA vans and the comments - it's like a car accident = hard not to look

The problem is you them lose most of the storage that you get with a fixed bed and it’s harder to access the storage. The proper mattress on a fixed bed is also completely flat and more comfortable.

On this trip i have noticed that i had not before just how popular PVCs are. On some sites it's easily 7 out of 10 vans are PVCs.
Yes i would have one with the correct layout.

Not bad for a Whoosh Bang, but the lack of a sink and a wardrobe etc would be a big downer.

He also did not tell us if it had an electric closing side door, which is a nice thing to have.

But for the price I could buy a Motorhome with all the trimmings, and much more space.

Our Wildax Elara on a sprinter is the same length as this, fixed single beds, big rear garage. Downsides are the narrowness of the sprinter, real pinch point between kitchen/bathroom, you’d need to be sure you can live with it and difficult to keep under 3500, we couldn’t so went for4050 version.
Like the look of the RP but it was £50k more expensive.
