This info may be of some help to any Funster that may be coming to Portugal..

Payment options for foreign-registered vehicles.....occasional/short stays...
Options without electronic device.

The best deal is to get is the.

3 day light vehicles, fixed cost of 20 euros regardless of the number of journeys made in Highways with electronic toll only. maximum purchas of 6 titles per year.

You can do this online before you come IF you know when to the DAY you will be on one of the E/Toll roads.....otherwise you will be wasting one or two of your 3 days..but even then it is still cheap if only used on one day ...I paid 35 euros on one stretch of E/toll toadoh:

Durrrrr !

Haven't used any toll roads so far, but will be using the A22 on Friday leaving Portugal ! I have been informed that it takes 2 days for the info to come up on their device, so where do I stand on that one ???
