Well, after Portsmouth to Caen and 18 hours later have arrived in Mojácar, Almeria. Stopped off in Tours, Altea and straight to Mojácar.

If you want a nice quiet beach, drive south on the coast road from Mojocar, when you go over the hill and past camping Negra (spelling) you can turn off the main road onto a dirt track along the beach, keeping the sea on your left you will come to a small bar, keep on past this staying on the dirt track, follow for quite a while, round some s bends you'll eventually come to Playa del Sombrerico. Nice little beach with bar. WIld camping was possible when we were there, few years back.
