Solo route from Costa del Sol to Santander (1 Viewer)

I find myself on my own just outside Estepona costa del sol Im thinking of a slow drive north over 10 days and Im looking for stop overs Camp sites or aires
Can You help ?

We love the route keeping west of Madrid via Caceres Salamanca Valladolid Merida Burgos
Great site or aire at Caceres , camping Regio I think at Salamanca . Merida has fabulous roman ruins but the camp site leaves a lot to be desired, Burgos cathedral is awesome and we stayed on huge car park aire

We've just started on a route from the costas to Irun. we meandered around the Sierra Nevadas for a day or so and when it is time to move on I look in a vaguely northerly direction, see a range of hills in the distance and we head for them. We left the coast last Friday and have just reached here, Horcajo de las Montes. At the moment only using the thin white roads on our Michelin map. Some are a bit iffy but mainly fantastic.
