Hi.
I've been full timing in Scotland for a while now. I have a young child whom i would like to home school. Hoping to meet like minded folk.

We are travelling to the continent end of August for the best part of the winter. It would be nice to meet up with some other travellers for safety and companionship.

We enjoy swimming, eating out, socialising, exploring, family parks, raking around markets, car boot sales, junk shops etc for stuff we didn't realise we needed. Lol.

Most of all we like laughter. X

Hi Sheila!

Let me know if you want to go down south west of France! I'll be delighted to meet up with you and you child (Boy? girl? how old?)

I could be of some help for French courses if the right age, and may be you could help me with my toddlers courses...You would be safe here , behind the big gate of the stadium. There's a swimming pool at a reasonable walking distance and you have the City of Space nearly next door with motorhome. I could even take you there by car as I've never been there:Blush:

Anyway, apart from a few rules I have to obey ( chilminding is mostly a b****y list of rules!!) and have to inform you about, it is all very simple! You just have to PM me to tell me if you would fancy this exchange of knowledge:winky:::bigsmile:.

Hi and welcome from a fellow Scot , and ex fulltimer

we travelled as you intend for three years from 2006 with a teenage son 16, and 6yo daughter who we home schooled..

Most who travel abroad for winter will head for south of Spain and use a site that gives a long term discount.. usually for stays of more than 30 days .. increasing the longer you stay..

We did this in winter 2006/2007 for 4 months at a site called Roquetas Camping, Roquetas, near Almeria. We made some great friends.. particularly a German couple who almost adopted Charlotte.. :roflmto: She had wonderful time, visiting our 'neighbours' every day for treats.. Italians, Germans, Dutch etc.. what a great experience for her..

If you have any questions about this or any other matter, please ask... there are quite a few long termers on here .. all keen to share their knowledge

Good luck..
