I have two 100ah leisure batteries and one solar panel dont know the wattage.
Excuse my lack of knowledge what would a second solar panel give me. Quicker charging?
We managed off grid this weekend for three nights but we were careful of usage didnt have tv on much.

A second solar panel would always be better. Also install a voltage meter or keep an eye on your one. It will give you an indication of state of charge for your batteries so you don't discharge them too much and cause them permanent damage.

I have had a quote for another panel and regulator. As we dont know the watt of the existing panel it isnt being wired in parallel
Does this matter im no electrician?

Yes, it matters, do your research

But, if you are also getting another controller, you connect each panel to its own controller, not to each other, then to the battery
