Thought I had it sussed out but fortunately before I started drilling I found a steel roof cross member just where I wanted to get in
Anybody with a sunliving v65 and solar panels?
Where has the installer made a hole in the roof to access the interior?
Simon Howards Motorhomes is there a manufacturers recomemdation ? Can you tell me without breaking the official secrets act?
TIA

The roof ribs are not very wide if you moved 25mm one way you would probably miss it, they are also hollow and you could still drill straight through it.

When we had our Globecar I put the cable for the solar panels down near the B pillar over the passenger seat, I drilled into the flat area just behind the front cab curved section so the hole went down into the corner of the overcab locker just in front of the B pillar I then fed the cables down within the B pillar plastic cover to the floor and under the passenger seat where I'd put the solar panel controller.

Morning Berni!
It always fills me with dread when you the hear of customers doing DIY  ;) I have no idea where the ribs are located! What I will do Berni is to get one of our motorhome techs to call you today and they will be able to help / offer advice!

I know exactly where they are located, but then I’m only a DIY person.

Minxy Girl thanks for that suggestion. Not thought of going that far forward but it would save fishing the cables through under the floor to get to the batteries. Will check it out later.
