yuk. Not sure about the practicalities either? sodium-nickel-chloride batteries I thought required 150°C+ temperature to operate as it is a molten salt? How are you going to keep the salt up to temp when long term off grid? i could be wrong on this as it is a while since I looked at alternative battery tech....

It looks like they threw every technology at this as a demonstrator without any regards to practical use?
