Some time ago another funster posted that he had added 4 solar lights to his mitorhome.

following his suggestion, I purchased 4 solar lights from Amazon.

this week, in Spain I took 1/2 hour relaxation to attach these to my motorhome. I am so impressed!!

thanks for a great tip. All my contacts on FB love the application.

Hi do you have the model and type of lights

Do they stay on all night or do you turn them off when you turn in?

As they are PIR they activate with movement. 3 settings.

This and the earlier one may help

I have fitted 4 or 5 at home here & am amazed how bright they are & the distance at which they detect movement. I also fitted some at our daughter's in the UK.
Those with the sid e triangle lights make them even better

I have seven of these in my back garden. Absolutely brilliant. I have found they die after a year or two, but are cheap to replace.

It’s the battery that dies over the winter, clean them up and fresh rechargeable battery in, works for me. They last 3-4 years then the solar panel is caput.

Dreadful….yet more light pollution ☹️
More overall pollution sounds like throw away Amazon plastic to me shouldn’t be allowed, stuff should be designed to last at least a decade and even then be repairable.

What’s wrong with a candle…much more romantic as well…even if you can’t see anything.

If these are stored away and attached when you park up, I imagine they'd be pretty good.

If you drove with them on the van through winter salty spray, I would have expected them to die much faster.

Please don't park next to me.
Im with you. I don’t mind if just on for a little while but it is just inconsiderate to leave them on and go out for evening or leave on all night. I love camping for dark skies. I almost miss getting up in the middle of the night when tent camping and crossing a dark field to the loo.

I invested in a plastic tub!
