The regulator switches on at 15 volts so should work given that even in bad light a series pair should give double that.
As I said I will experiment when I have nothing else on but for me it is no good as I have 3 panels

Cheers Andy - I'll be very interested in your findings.

My current thinking is to fit a couple of 80W panels wired in series to something like a Victron BlueSolar MPPT 75/15. I only have room for 2x95Ah batteries, so no point in going over the top on output, but the limited battery capacity means I need to keep something flowing in whenever possible.

With your setup, you've no need to push the boundaries to charge with every weak glimmer of sunlight, but if you did want to go down that route, Victron do make controllers that would take 3 panels in series. They are a touch pricey though! :whistle::eek: Not economically justifiable, given what you have already, I wouldn't think.
