Small van, no space on roof, folding, its heavy but can be angled towards the Sun whereas the roll up or fold up is not self supporting so has to be in van window or vulnerable flat on ground.

Roof but don't waste your time with cheap panels and regulators, make sure its decent kit fitted properly for maximum efficiency or your wasting your money

I fitted 2 panels on the Roof no problem.

My mate has the free standing panel and has more power in his battery a long while before me in the morning, but roof is fit and forget. It’s personal choice
