Hi,

I'm fitting a Maxxair and I'm pretty sure our solar panel is going to be just in the way and will need to be moved - grrrrrrrr - based on the pic does anyone know if these footings are just bonded or are they likely screwed down as well. Hard to say I know, just on the balance of probability will do :)

Best to unscrew the solar panel from the footings and see if there are any screws to the inside. The footings look to be the type that are normally fixed down with sealant.

I see no reason why they would be screwed down!! Can't you tell by the holes in the brackets as to whether they have been used ?

No need to unscrew panel from mount... Yet
Slide a very flexible long blade (I use an old bread knife ideal) under the feet. Screws would normally be on outer flanges and none apparent so should be an easy cut. They would have to come off anyway.
