Yep Sikaflex.. I have used 221 or 521..
Make / buy some brackets, fix them to the panel to allow airflow and cooling underneath.
Just stick em down, job done...

I tend to use the above, but if there are any rails up there I usually attach one end to them.. Makes for a real quick, absolutely solid installation

So do you just stick the whole thing to the roof?

I assumed there were feet or summat.

And what happens if you need to take it off? E.G. For repair.

Sikaflex is the way to go, however they have a bewildering array of seemingly identical products.
I identified the material of the MoHo roof (painted GRP in my case) and the material of the mounting brackets (ABS plastic).
Sent this information to technical@uk.sika.com, received a reply within the day with the recommended product, Sikaflex 252 in my case.

For none flexible panels you don't stick the panel to the roof. You stick the mounting brackets to the roof with the riveted or bolted panel attached to the brackets.

(It made sense to me when I typed it:unsure:)

My Rapido has a "floating" roof fabric so I would need to drill and screw into the solid roof material: simply gluing to the material may result in a panel blowing off and taking the fabric with it!

If in doubt, do it with care - Gordon

I've been using Tec 7 for the last three years, customising camper vans etc the caravan industry have been using Sikaflex for years and years and in fairness nothing much else was around but once they lost the paten rights to their M7 Polymer Adhesives many new types of this adhesive have come along...the point of the story you don't have to pay Sikaflex prices anymore:):)

My roof is the same but with no screws and they dont come off
I have never used screws on any panels I've fitted and no reports of panels on the road behind yet.

Just done mine using these, cut the cable in half that gives you + and - plugs on the roof to plug into the panel then the cut ends go through the gland fitting into the MH ot run to the controler.
