So 4 days before i was due to go in to get my new solar panel, controller and batteries, theyve now decided they dont work and large motorhomes only small van conversions. Complete let down having waited weeks and already paid £700 deposit and booked 3 days on a campsite nearby.

Need a recommendation for somewhere that actually knows what theyre doing please. Glasgow area, or as close South of it as possible please?

I see theres a place in Perth, anyone had any dealings with them?

Im still struggling to find somewhere to fit the solar i need.

The latest place im speaking to is suggesting a 175w panel (as its their biggest panel).

Im really looking for a big 300w or more single rigid panel, or would it actually be better to fit 2 smaller 175w panels anyway? In partial shade scenarios theoretically wouldnt 2 smaller sized panels be better (albeit probably more expensive)?

Also, I want to fit a b2b at the same time so whats the consensus on fitting b2b (like c-tek) to not only charge the batteries properly, but to also act as the solar charge controller as well (or is a separate controller like Voltronic / Victron better?)
thanks
