Dealer has fitted a dual batter regulator to charge both cab and habitation batteries, looking at reg it only has one set of wires not two for each separate battery, any chance this will work or am I being fobbed off? They say it enters a grey box and the magic happens from there! Only grey box I can find is the habitation fuse box, any thoughts grTefully received.

Hi. Can you explain which wire goes where?
I can't see how just two wires can independently charge two batteries.
Unless both batteries connected to chassis Earth and the two wires are positive feed to each battery? Other more knowledgeable chaps will be along soon.

One set of red and black as input from panel and one set as output to the grey box

If it is a dual charging regulator there will be two sets of output terminals, one for each type of battery. There may also be a third for "load" but that can be ignored.

However, the dealer might have fitted a batterymaster or similar device. This takes the output from the regulator and splits it.

If you can post a photo of the regulator and grey box it would help.

May be going to a B2B charger ( battery to battery) only a thought...
