I have a ????? "dream"
"boil"
"itch to scratch"........

so do I

Morning

I have a fiat Ducati, currently with leisure battery, but this year looking to go more off line camping due to grandkids!! Need more power supplies as they have various electronic gadgets ..scooters /laptops etc what kind of solar do people recommend? Seen various with mobile inverters ? Mainly needing power in evenings /night ,, so unless I book a site with hook up I’m doomed and don’t want to be the bad grandad ???

I'd say you need a couple of batteries and a couple of 150w solar panels.

We've just got one of each and manage perfectly well, just the TV in the evenings being the usual drain.

It's a good idea to get sorted out with solar and extra batteries, but don't dismiss campsites. They are generally safe traffic-free places for grandkids to wander round and maybe meet up with other kids. Depending on what your grandkids want, I suppose.

And you'll probably want some extra 12V sockets for the laptops etc, and some USB adaptors or built-in sockets for the phones etc.
