Getting there!
Hi all,
does anyone know where to get SOG carbon filters at a treasonable price please?

I have a SOG II (I think) floor vented system and the cheapest I can find the filters are £34.14 up to over £50!! apparently these were only about £21 originally, does anyone know of any at a more reasonable price or have I just got to bite the bullet?

cheers
Chris

I use to refill them.

I use to refill them.
Thanks - I will definitely try that but I would like another one to use while I'm adapting/refilling the other one.

I had two as soon as the one in use started smelling I would swap them over.
I've since converted mine to a roof vent so don't need filters.

I have just used your method to refill the charcoal. Took me an hour to remove drill hole and recharge the granules. Next time 20 minutes because it’s now pre drilled.
£8 for 1 kilo off eBay enough for 4 refills. =£2 a pop.
Thanks
Phil

Does that mean mine won’t have filters Lenny? It’s not something I’ve thought about🤔

Yep, no filter in yours, you just get your own back if a rooflight is open & the winds in the wrong direction.

I'm having a right job getting the filter out of the floor fitting. It's in the bottom of a cupboard behind a load of wires & I can't budge it.
Has anyone els had a job loosening theirs?
It's almost like it's glued in ☹️
