I'm a newbie
So today I should be making my way down the M74 on to the M6 for my first overnight stop at Crossfells campsite Penrith. Then down to the tunnel and then a three-month trip through Europe up into Norway across to Finland down to Poland and back home. However, what I am actually doing is replacing my garage roof. Why am I doing my garage roof well ask the Chinese.

Stopping at home and trying to save a few folks lives.
If by staying around our home here in Stafford..stops someone from getting the horrendous problem and prevents one life from being lost by us stopping in.....
I think we have achieved what is of the most important things to be done at this moment in time ..Yes?

Kev and Carolyn......Just want to help a little bit if we can!

And an excellent job your making of it. In God's country as well, lucky man.

Do you feel as I do that the good weather is going to waste a little.
Definately a waste of glorious weather, on the other hand it`s been nice to enjoy time in the garden doing jobs that have been put off for years.
The good weather has certainly made lockdown easier, queing outside the supermarket in the rain would be much less appealing.
I just hope it doesn`t rain non stop once lockdown is lifted.

No rain here. Glorious day again. Do you feel as I do that the good weather is going to waste a little.View attachment 379525
Your weather looks much better than ours.

With predictions of possible lock down for a year to eighteen months we wonder how much travelling time we have left. :(

Normally at home this time of year and supposed to be getting on with converting my workshop to her utility room.
Surprised myself, I'm actually doing it.

Weather's been good that makes it easier to get on even when it's indoors. First rain today for over 4 weeks.

Should have been in New Zealand touring the north And South Island ☹
Still hoping to get away in November but we shall see
If it’s any comfort to you, you will have better weather in November than we are having now.

Killing 3 days until we get on a ferry to Greece from Italy and travel until the sun stops shining over there, what a bad year we chose to come up wi this great idea????

On the way, having just left home in SW France, to go to NordKapp, Norway.

We should have been somewhere in the Dordogne or the Lot, trying out the self build,, we worked like mad to get it finished. Planned to go in the little van (vw crafter) to explore more places.
But looking at the weather forecasts,,,its due to be better here than France for the next 2 weeks.
Now got to wait until end of August, hopefully,, we can get to go to Croatia or Provence in the Chieftain.

Should have been competing in the Boundary Breeze triathlon, having trained all winter and ready to go with the first of the season.

Actually doing - Picking my son up from Uni as he has now finally been released from his accommodation contract and can be let home to carry on studying remotely. Then later, gowning, up masking, up and changing a rancid dressing on a client because no one else will as she is Covid positive. Many years since I moved in to senior management but these last few weeks especially, my nursing skills are really being tested!!!

enjoy your day everyone, even if you are at home, remember you are alive and one day closer to the end of this disaster.

We should have been at Peterborough motorhome show ?

Normally at this time of year we'd be loading the van for our annual three months in Antibes. However, at the end of last year we exchanged our Elddis for an old (2000) Hymer B534. It needed a fair amount of work to bring it up to our standards and I did wonder if we'd get it all done in time - then fate stepped in. The silver lining is that we now have all the time in the world and spare cash with which to do it. As long as we all stay safe and well there's always another trip in the future.

Should of been in Scotland attempting the NC500 in our New MH, ive done it on my Harley & The Apple cross pass (y) the MH is currently on SORN and im learning all about how everything works :ROFLMAO:(y) it has 14 miles on the clock.
