Hi looking for the nearest place to park up for 2 nights next weekend in Llanberis Snowdon don’t mind trying my first off grid or Car park if allowed I have contacted one Hotel in town The Heights they said to park I. They car park is ok as long as I have a drink or meal ect plus £25 per night no electric

Oh thanks golly at least I’ll have hook up for same price thanks

There is a very nice campsite, which is still open, where the hard standings are overlooking the lake. Leki included. We were there 2 weeks ago.

Its on the other side of the Lanberis Pass

Lyn Gwynant Campsite

Be aware that:

The Lanberis Pass may still be closed for resurfacing work, but check as they may have finished.

The campsite can only be entered by MoHo's when coming UP hill (From Beddgelert) .
This means if you are coming from Lanberis, you pass the camp site entrance, get down to lake level, turn around (there is a layby you could turn a coach in about half a mile past the entrance) and then enter the campsite on the way up the hill

I hope you know the width of your MoHo and the Lanberis and Gwynant pass roads are 'exciting' to drive!

Morris Leisure site at llanberis is nice good facilities bit pricey though but only a short walk to llanberis.

we stayed a night at plas gwyn when we went to snowdon, was £27 a night with hookup that was in July, its a nice site if its open

There is this one, we are staying next week for the Marathon, no hookup but that suits us. £5 each a night. Morris leisure site is excellent, but pricey!

Morris leisure site is very very good and they do a lot of deals in Winter (3 nights for 2 iirc), well recommended.
