Bit of advice please.
From those of you that spend 3-4 months one one site down in Southern Spain... Do you book a couple of early weeks and then just keep staying on or the whole 90 days or so in one booking?
I have tried booking a few sites for 90 days 'up front' and it always says 'not available'.
This is a toe in the water enquiry so no particular sites in mind although La Marina looks good and a smart site with good on site gym would be nice. Pondering over El Campello as well

Not long enough!
I would book a couple of weeks then extend when you arrive.
You many want to move on elsewhere.

Unfortunately the booking systems vary from one site to another. Where we stay Villasol Benidorm, you can book a pitch for an arrival date, you choose your pitch from those available on arrival, tell reception you want to go on the 90 day rate and pay when you leave or monthly as you please(you can get a small discount for paying cash one month in advance). They also allow you to move pitch if a better one becomes available during your stay.
I would recommend that you email the site you are interested in, rather than trying to do it on their web site.
Cheers
Ed

since a child
remember some are already prebooked by folk from last winter.
there can be odd weeks here and there but some are just booked up almost for ever.
there are always some places if you move about .
we dont use any ,but know in some places where others are and have been every winter for years .

If you want to stop on a particular site it's best to book, many sites are full on the costa blanca over winter. :) Bob.

One of the ways to do it is to book through the Camping Club, if you pick a site with a rally on you don't have to join in anything. Their bookings are open from this coming Tuesday and it will be a busy day as the regulars will be booking their favourite sites. The sites are listed under the Winter brochure on the Camping Club website.

You may find you can book online up till 31st December but after that the booking system is waiting to be updated for 2018 (new prices etc).
We found it's better to phone for booking January onwards.

Your certain of a pitch on Marjal at Catral. It's massive with no character but plenty of noisy spaniards at weekends. We stayed for a while last winter but never again.
