We are Love2Staying in Shrewsbury in the caravan as it snowed again last night and so we have probably had 8 inches in total but, after a thaw, we now have about 4 inches on top of ice. Should have left last Friday but safety comes first and the radio says the roads are terrible and the buses have also stopped running.

It was turning cooler today but still managed an hour or two out on the deckchair. I hear the ozone layer can be a problem at this time of year but I think I will risk it. We always get better weather here in East Anglia

Went out with tape measure in North Powys this afternoon and there was 15 inches on our garden stone table and still snowing. Looks like we will be walking in and out (a mile) for most of next week.
