Snipe V3 (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Does anyone know why some photos of the SNIPE 3 V3 show a completely white dish and others show the dish with a black slightly curved strip at one side of the dish. Any info appreciated.

Interesting observation which I can’t help with.

The selfsat website shows an image for the Snipe 3 without a black curved edge, but several of those listed for sale (Amazon, eBay etc) from continental Europe do.

When I had a Snipe 2 it was purchased from this guy in the UK:-



I found him to be very helpful, could be worth giving him a call and asking the question?

Its Pulsat where we got ours from. Ours is the Version 2 but updated with the new controller box as shown on here.

We have used Pulsat as well. They know what they are talking about, are quick to respond and are just great people to deal with.

Hi, did you ever find out what the black part on some snipe 3's is?

Yes, it is specific to the one I bought , it has an extra facility. I cant remember what it is but it is for fine tuning. I'm really happy with the unit.

I think the one with the black stripe on the side is the one that can be used on the move.
