The kit arrived yesterday and there is a pack of 4 self adhesive pads in the fitting kit but no info as to where they are supposed to be used.
Any ideas?
I was wondering if they were to place between the dish and the motor unit to reduce vibration

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
they are just little pads to stop scratching/slipage when used portable.
made an alloy plate & bonded mine to the roof, it can be unscrewed leaving the plate behind if needed
it shows the pads fitting on page 7.

Thanks, that's what I thought.
My concern is that when fixed on the roof in the home position there is a bit of movement up and down between the box and the motor housing.
My previous system had a bump stop that rested on the roof making it quite a tight fitting.
I was just a bit concerned that on some of the rough terrain we've been over this year the vibration might damage the unit. I was wondering if placing a couple of the pads between the box and the motor might ease the problem.
