We flush out drinking water and dose regularly.. Milton .. aqua tabs etc .. for some reason we very quickly (few days) get bad smelling water out of bathroom tap ONLY .. shower is fine .. kitchen is fine .. there’s an intermittent weep at same tap .. is this causing bacterial growth ? Anyone had similar .. ??

I was being semi-serious. If the smell emanates only when turning on the tap, there may be waste material in the plughole or waste plumbing which produces the pong when disturbed by the flow of water.

Water down plug hole, can mean waste tank gas comes back the other way. You smell it and assume your clean water tap is to blame.
I added an extra external vent port to my old coachbuilt to allow gas to escape the holding tank and also made waste water easier to get in to it without the "blow back".
p.s. Milton not recommended as corrodes steel such as your boiler element - Puraclean preferred?

Best cleaner we’ve used yet is full fat cola, not expensive stuff, cheapest you can find, cpl of 2 ltr bottles down the plug hole before going home, into a pretty empty waste tank. Let it slosh around, preferable a decent journey. Works a treat. I was sceptical initially but it does work. Also we don’t store waste in tank in general, only occasionally. We leave tap open into a waste master.

I had a similar problem in my Hobby 600, just bad smelling water from kitchen tap. no matter how often in sterilised it after a few weeks it was back. I eventually changed the whole of the water pipe from the distribution manifold to the tap and saw in this at certain points build up of particles at low points where they come to rest when water isn't flowing. I assume tis to be the source of the problem. I can be very tricky plumbing in a new pipe as I found out.
