Hi Folks - looking for a little more MotorhomeFun Advice, please.

We are going to have 10-15 days in the van on a Southern UK tour in a couple of weeks time (NE based), and with the dog (Collie) we will be in a total mess if we have to let him and our muddy boots into the van several times a day without drying him off!

So, I'm looking for advice on a small vestibule type of awning or tent that is simple and quick to erect, can withstand winter weather and is just large enough to dry the dog off, change from boots and wets into slippers etc. I know that sounds like the holy grail but you experts just might have a solution for me?

I don't have an awning channel on the van so probably need to be self-supporting or tied into the sides or something???

Thoughts, recommendations and comments would be most appreciated!

I've pondered this too. From what I have read on here the Quest pop up seems to fit the bill. I think that's the way we will go.

The Outdoor Revolution Outhouse XL is a freestanding lightweight tent which is easy to erect and handy to have in place, about £100 if you can find one.

We have and like the Quest, BUT it is free standing and does not connect to the van and therefore provide ideal storage for out door kit etc

Hi All - thanks so much for the suggestions. The Popup Quest seems about right in terms of quick erection and dismantling, but its mesh sided, so as it comes (without extras to put on which will make it slower) it won't work in poor weather!

The Quest Elite Instant Hi-Top looks like the answer but it is expensive and is definitely much slower to erect looking at the videos?

Does anyone use this in poor weather?
