Small solar panels. Any good? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering how my batteries are going to hold up at meets this year.

Will a small portable solar panel be any help?

Saw some this size/type on Ebay. Broken Link Removed

There should be a formula around on Google but its a very in insect science as depends on all sorts such as efficiency of the panels type of controller angle of the sun amount of cloud and so it goes on, I use about 20watts to keep my engine start battery topped up and using the radio occasionally when parked and about 220 watts to re charge the house batteries during the day for a bit of TV and LED lighting, hope that helps

I use 100watt to keep batteries topped up because MH not at home never been flat yet

Hi, agree with previous posts - waste of money. Better put the money to a 100 watt panel and control box for example.
