...recommendations please

i've got a rotary line but it takes up a lot of space and i can see it getting squashed

maybe there isnt a freestanding dryer thats actually designed for camping? They fold up anyway

I have one of these. It folds up into a neat bag which stows in a top locker in the van.

thank you - in that case i'll use the one Ive got until it breaks then probably buy the rotary line above, as it folds away smaller

I got one from Wilko that foldS down flat and expands sideways when up, really good, I think I paid about £15

Ours is like this:

Folds flat and easy to move around. We have a Fiamma one on the back of the bike rack but it's often in the shade vs this that we move around to the best place according to how we pitch.
 
The brand is Leifheit

Ours is the "Standard dryer Siena 180" but as you can see on their website they have a complete range of them in all shapes and sizes and indeed for different applications (free standing, over bath, wall mounted etc)
 
Ours folds up into a tiny bag, there is about 50ft of hanging space. Tie one end to the van and the other to the nearest tree or post. Think I may patent it. :oops: :rofl::rofl::rofl:
