Hi all before you say tell the small drip to get of the pump.
Has any one had the same or is it just better to replace. And keep as a spare.
It's a autofail 2013 pump model number 4029-181-A32
Had a look on fleabag not found any with same model number.

Are you sure the pumps leaking, the plastic filter had a small crack on ours, probably had water trapped and froze causing it. 🙄🙂 Bob.

When I used mine for the first time this year I had a slight leak under it, the filter bowel just needed a tweak. Just a fraction of a turn, probably loosened with pump vibration.

Plenty of spares available but not cheap if it's a few years old might as well replace the pump if you need parts.

In my experience they can develop a drip from the pump housing joint after a few years, it's quite simple to strip them down and give everything a clean and then back together with a little bit of vaseline on the joint and they are good for a few more years.

It's coming from the bottom of the pump.

Will take it off and have a look if it's a simple strip down .thanks all.
We've got a 2013 Frontier and this is the pump in ours.

Think this is the manual for it.

I thought we may have had to replace ours a couple of years ago (but it fixed itself!) and, as you say, impossible to find the same part number.

Think this was the possible replacement option but you'll better double check with the supplier.

If you do replace, watch out for the pressure rating. Shurflo (and other diaphram pumps) tend to come with some very healthy pressure capabilities. However, your existing pump may be a low pressure model which is required for some hot water systems. Check your hot water system for max pressure before getting yourself an upgrade. US RV equipment is usually good for high pressure. Truma tends to be OK. But some other makes have a very low pressure capacity as they were designed for the pathetic submersible pumps in caravans.

Shurflo pumps have different part numbers supplied to oem as supplied for maintenance/ repairs.

Took mine out on Saturday stripped, cleaned, and reinstalled. Was just dripping when at full pressure.
