Either or if you just want to insure it so you can take her out. It won’t make much, if any, difference.

One thing you will find is that to insure her now as a learner will be significantly cheaper than to insure her with a full licence. When she passes and you phone to let them know be prepared for the premium to almost double.

Same here 2 of them and both around £2000 with black boxes (n)

About a grand here with no black box. Was about 600 before he passed his test. Obviously postcode areas will make a big difference.

About 1250 with a box.

all done.. car viewed, tested and bought today, . .. Tax paid and insured through Swinton for £378..

policy is in my name with Chaz as main driver .. no black box

will be delivered early next week after service and new MOT ..

There is something special about them getting their first little cars ! Our girls had a Yaris and Jennie’s had had an old lady who had only done 2. ,000 Miles a year fully maintained and serviced.
A lovely little car happy days!
Safe travels !( although you and the wife will both worry at first! We followed her on her first trip on the motorway!!)
