Not sure if this a particular Hymer problem or general to all A class.

The sliding window on our B544 runs in a rubber/felt type channel, in the rain this gets wet as the rain runs don the window and seeps into the channel. This doesn't seem to be a problem as there are drain points.
The problem I'm having is the channel dries out and then get dragged by the window when I slide it open, I can pull it back but it's getter out of shape bit by bit.

Any suggestions ?

A few years.
Replace it the felt is wearing out and the glass sticks to the rubber. Common problem on early Minis look on ebay for replacement.

We had a similar problem, silicon spray has solved it for now until I have the time/inclination to replace it!

Since 2008 & many years tugging
I expect the rubber has hardened with age best to replace, as others have said silicon spay will give temporary relief.

ive got similar problems on my burstner but i can see no way to change the felt runners as they appear to be cast in place when the window is made
