Skype Triumph!

    Two minutes ago I received an email from Skype.

    They have refunded (almost) all the money I lost through fraudulent use of my account.

    It took hours of email writing back and forth.

    They now seem to agree that the breach in security was nothing to do with me, my firewall or my anti-virus software. Three full scans revealed no infections or nasties on my computer.

    I am pleased and relieved.

    Long Live Skype and all who sail in her...

    Good to read of a happy outcome, but a warning for us to keep a check on these things. Carol. :Smile:

    Pleased you got a good result and thanks for telling us all. I have removed my auto top up now and one thing I do a norm is change password on a regular basis. I had a bad experience with ICQ in a similar manner without the money issue though and since then I fund it is worth it to change passwords every 6 weeks or so.
