hi all...can anyone tell me how full timers get sky tv as no phone line ect ect i know you can get the stranded jobie but wot about sport/films ect

As far as I am aware the phone need only be connected for 12 months at the start of the contract. My cousin in Belgium has sky and has had it for about 6 years with her dads address here registered,but he doesn't have a box.

Those of us who live abroad have no trouble getting Sky - in our case, we have the full package. There are many outfits who will organise an account for you. Just use Google sensibly and you will find them. No need to be connected to a phone line. Even if that happened to be a problem, it is one that can easily be solved with a VoIP line!

Same here.. Pulled the telephone line out after 12 weeks and it has never been back in

I just pull the card and use it in the sky box in the van

We are full time and have Sky.

We use our daughters address and pay by Direct Debit,

We phoned one rep at Sky who said we couldn't have it without a landline connected. We tried again and this time there was no problem. We did explain that we were going Full Time in the Motorhome.

The first time you turn it on in the van you get a message on screen saying that the card isn't compatible please ring SKY on ******************* . told them what I was doing and he authorised both boxes to the one card. That was 2 years ago and havent had any problems since.
