Arrived in La Plagne 12 o clock local time no spaces on Aire apparently 3 leaving at 5 and we are no 3 in queue. Fantastic snow conditions up here. And glorious sunshine it couldn't get any better. We're sat outside in the sun having lunch hoping we get a space. Forgot how tough thE road up from Moutiers is it's been 10 years since the last time we drove it make VT a doddle. If we do get in here may stay a week and not bother with Grand Bonard.

Nice, luck you.

I have been there in the summer, cycled from the valley floor to the top, was somewhat puffed out by the time we got there but lovely scenery, than of course the amazing descent.

What's the access to the slopes like Rory?

La Plagne is on our Christmas 2014 hit list!

We just got sited 6 hour wait but a great spot on the edge of the piste.
Jon access is even better than VT literally ski in n out or that's how it looks Aire is right on the side of the piste. May not be here much longer though gonna build a hotel here but may be a new Aire a bit further up the piste. Typical skiing Aire crammed in like sardines but a Flot Bleu and electric posts although not enough to go around. May stay here a week now as conditions are perfect and good weather forecast for a week and only 10 euros a night. :thumb:
