Ski Alpin, Seefeld Austria- any views (1 Viewer)

Hi
We're definitely addicted to motorhome skiing and find Austria suits better than France - Switzerland is crazy expensive these days.
Grubhof St Lofer is the best we've found so far and will return, but the skiing is only good for a few days.

Several people have recommended Alpin in seefeld as a great campsite and resort.

I'd be interested in any other decent sites with "wellness" centres within bus/ walking of a ski resort.

Be interested in any personal views

We like soll in Austria there is a campsite with facility's theres also a place were you can wilded camp near the slops.

We have skied for a few years at Valloire in France as it had a very cheap season pass if you bought it before mid November. Must admit they don't release this info on the price until late September. Last year it was just under 280 euros for the season.
There is an aire for camping cars up at Les Verney in the top of the resort by a ski lift. Otherwise there is a campsite in the main village with access to all the usual ski resort facilities .

Pettneu - just outside St Anton, very good, 10 minutes bus to St Anton

solden - right in the town, 5 minutes walk to ski lift - fantastic

Fugen - camping hell,(yes real name, but very luxurious) between innsbruck and mayhofen

lots of local skiing, very luxurious, plus transport all around zillertal area

Solden is fab - not pretty, alpine charm, but great skiing. 3 glaciers to choose fromThis is our first choice for Early March 2017. Will incorporate 1 day to obergurgul this time around
