we are heading into France next February, intending to travel through the Tunnel and down to the Loire Valley.

Although we intend to use Aires in the main, we would be grateful for any information on sites that may be open at that time of year and that you could recommend. we would prefer sites within easy walking distance of a village or town, although that is not essential.

If you use the acsi website and key in the dates of your travel and the area the map will only show the sites that are open. I can recommend camping du Bois de Beaumard near Nantes which is open all year. We stayed there last January. http://camping-beaumard.com/
