Hi
Looking at travelling the alps side of France this year and thinking of ending up around Annecy. Does anyone have any recommendations of good sites.

I don`t know the area so can`t recommend any but it`s on my list of destinations to visit at some point.
I think there are many sites all around the lake
Other`s more knowledgeable are sure to be along soon.
You could also do a search in the France thread, lots of useful info will come up

We don't do sites , but there's a nice lakeside aire at La Balme de Sillingy , with a nice Bar , gps 45.971309, 6.031686. to the west of Annecy.

We stopped at an site opposite the seafront and walked into Annecy. Some lovely photos too
