Meredith Farm, if you want somewhere a bit quirky, quiet and friendly. Facilities are a little, erm, rustic shall we say. If you've got kids then they'll love it, lots of space to run around, a huge hay meadow to play hide & seek in and various friendly animals to say hello to. My kids adore the place, especially Elvis the pig, possibly the most spoilt pig in existence! A very quiet site though.

If however you're the sort of person who likes Caravan-club style sites with marked pitches in regimental order and immaculate toilet blocks, you'll hate it!

C&CC site at Tarrington, about 5 miles out of town. Lovely site, lovely people and a brilliant fishing lake. 100% recommended.

Yep agree with all of the above, depends what you are after.
If you want to be able to walk in to Hereford then the Rowing Club is the simplest, on the river bank in the town.

If you want to be a little way out another nice site on the river bank is Lucksall Campsite
http://www.lucksallpark.co.uk/

Or out of town away from the river maybe Burhope farm, secluded and away from it all

Just over the hill from us :)
word of caution...whichever way you approach it you'll have a few miles of back roads...some quite narrow bits and tractors with lunatics behind the wheel..best approach is from the a466 on this route..http://tinyurl.com/owdz4jj

Should be a great ride into Monmouth, some challenging long uphill sections though :)
