Site with electric, open, within an hour of Calais? (1 Viewer)

Was going to stop at an Aire tonight before tunnel tomorrow morning but fridge has stopped working on gas and I have a lot in it!!

Recommendations preferably with gps coordinates ates would be appreciated?

Good ACSI site at Licques, Nord -Pas-de-Calais called Pommiers des Trois Pays. Coordinates are:
N50 46'47" E1 56'52". We always stay here before the tunnel. About 30 mins from tunnel entrance.

525 Route des Dunes, 62215 Oye-Plage, France Camping Clairette 15 min from the ferry and avoids the trouble spots on route, 18euro with electrics on a nature reserve.

I'll second Licques - very convenient and a straightforward drive into Calais.

We have used the aires at the Marina at Le Touquet-Paris Plage it has all aires water electric and waste but may be low volts but good enough unless you want tv/toaster electric Barby etc.

If coming from Rouen, 4 miles North of Boulogne is Camping L'Escale in Wacquingham. It is 500m of junction 33 off the A16 ands is about 15 miles from the tunnel. It in the ACSI book.

More than an hour but popular with Funsters is Neufchatel en Bray. Nice Aire with electric.
We use it after late tunnel crossings

Another vote for Neufchatel en Bray good private Aire with electric and Wifi. 12 euros a night with 10 amp electric. Easy to get to and just off the motorway.
108 miles from Calais.

Electric hookup pitches round the back of the barn - drive down past the pitches on right and go left past the service point and down side of barn to grass area.

Neufchatel has good campsite with facilities next door to aire, and has excellent vet 400m in town if required.

I found the first recommendation after a long day of travelling. Thanks very much for the suggestions, it was all going so well till the fridge decided it didn't like gas any more!

And yes, I do still have gas in the tank! lol.
