Just found a small leak from the tap base dripping into the draw under the sink. Water isolated until tomorrow when I can have a proper look.
Has anyone any advise before the dismantling starts.

First step,tighten half a turn.:)

Swapped our kitchen and wasroom taps in the last couple of years I found identical ones at screwfix a fraction of the cost!!!

As you are a fully paid up member it would be nice to know what the problem was and how you fixed it. I get fed up following posts that just stop and you never know if the OP fixed it, left it as it was, threw the towel in and took it to a Dealer or sold the MH and bought a Caravan instead.

Give me a chance , my first post was only on Tuesday night, asking for advice.
So for your information the sink draws have been emptyed and removed , kitchen roll used to mop up small amount of water spilt (thanks Movan) ,wife taken to work, dog walked now having a cup of coffee. Investigation to start, maybe interrupted if the cricket is worth watching.

Can't find it on forum.. But I had same problem.. Different type of tap.. And it was mentioned that this is a common problem... I was under the impression that it usually happens over Winter. Useless bit of info for you. :)

Had a leak on our tap due to a crack, i think its the chromed plastic moulding where the two halves join that seems to be the weakness. Ours certainly never froze. I just bought a different one and fitted the new tap myself and kept the old one for spares.
About 3 weeks later in Portugal, a fellow motohomer's tap stopped working which we discovered was due to a dodgy micro switch. It just happened that my old tap was the same and had a good micro switch. ?
